well i play a song for about a min then everythign starts to slow down i look
at my task manger process they are up to 40,000 my cpu gets used up 100% and
i got a 3.2 processer

I am using wmp 8.0/9.0 windows xp home sp1. For some reason my player will no
longer play video clips from the web. I get a error messege that says: The
request is invalid in current stste, COOD0023.CAN ANYONE HELP ME? I have
tryed to find info on this problem with no luck.

Theres pleanty of info out here concernning music, and video, but, What
happened to pictures?  I'd like to load pictures on my WMP compatable device,
but alas WMP 10 has no support for pictures???  WMP 9.0 had it but silly me
clicked the update and no I'm not allowed to download  ...

I got an MP3 player (returned the other one I got - different brand - when I
was having the same problem - I thought it was broken).  I used the disk that
came with the player and it installed WM player 10.  When I connect the USB

I can't get the Library to run, whenever I click on the tab there is no
responce. also when I ask player to search for files on my PC it just hangs
there and does nothing. Finally when I rip a CD it recognises the files but
will not name them.

if the file is located on the internet, connect to the internet (we are
connected to by a cable modem all the time...) if the file is located on a
removable storage card, insert the storage card. (it is not)

Yep that is right, apart from formatting my hard drive, how on earth can I
sort this mess out? WMP never runs now, since I updated from WMP 9. It always
says it has encountered a problem. Also at the same time my WIN DVD OEM
stopped working and would say more or less the same ...

I cannot burn a CD, because I keep getting the message "WMP has encountered
an unknown error..." I have version 10.  My computer is Windows XP Home with
SP 2.  Any help is appreciated.

I had the C00D11BB error message and have solved it! (for WMP 10 in XP SP2 -
it may work for others though)
This assumes that you have checked you settings etc. and it still does not
work.

How can i keep my Media Player from buffering too much? I usually watch news
on svt.se and i can't watch it without it buffering every 15 seconds or so,

I can play music and movies that are stored on my machine just fine with
v10, but any time I try to play any files directly off of the web, all I get
at the most if sound and maybe the first frame and that is it. I truly do

I have a great problem! Every mp3, avi, have the audio frezeed. I can't pay
them well: for example on a mp3 file I hear well the rithm but the melody
singed is totally freezed. The same thing on avi files. All the sounds are

How do I get the wmp9 library to update itself to match the folder
scheme on my hard drive?  It insists on including folders and file
locations that no longer exist on the drive.
I even tried removing the library file on the drive and starting
