Windows Media Player 1019 Jan 2006 20:46 GMT3
I had WMP 9 and downloaded 10 as it seemed to be a better option (and now is
the only option) for Windows XP.  I tend to mainly play CDs and DVDs with
Windows Media Player and they had been working...until today.
Now, while I know the audio CDs are being read (due to the ...

I recently ripped a large number of CD's I own to .wma files, and try to have
WMP play them, which works fine for about an hour or two.  Invariably though,
the system will rapidly slow down, to the point where it takes 10 minutes to
change from one window to the other, or to pull ...

WMP10 No Video or Sound19 Jan 2006 18:39 GMT8
I just 'upgraded' from WMP9 to WMP10. All was well with WMP9. I was able to
play videos from Yahoo and connect to streaming news broadcasts from out of
town TV stations. With WMP10 all I get is the window showing that the program
is 'loading', then a quick flash in the window, ...
Analog tapes to mp3 player19 Jan 2006 17:01 GMT1
What's the best way to record cassette tapes to an mp3 player? I plugged the
tape player into the back of the sound card and I can hear the tapes through
the computer but I'm not sure how to record it to a digital file which could
then be sync'd to an mp3 player.

trying to figure out what I like and shuffling those files. I want it to
truly shuffle all my mp3’s, not what it thinks I want. is ...

are centered, but I can't view the full screen video,
regardless of window size.  Everything plays fine
Stopped playing most files19 Jan 2006 12:54 GMT13
It seems now, the only files it will play are mp3's and wmv's.  (won't
play wav's,mpegs, etc.) How annoying.
Tried uninstalling then reinstalling, ad still no luck.
Other videos play fine using InterVideo WinDVD
