When I attempt to burn a cd...no matter what files I try it inspects the

Hi I have been having a problem with media player. It never works when I need
to hear something online. Like the radio for instance, it comes up and
displays the buttons for play, fast forward, stop, etc, but never plays
anything...The Wondows media player works fine if I open it ...

Could anyone please help - how to capture WMP events in firefox on a windows
machine? Events like PlayStateChange(), positionChange() etc.

My hard disk is almost full so I have just bought a 200GB external hard disk
and have transferred all my music files onto it. This has, naturally enough,
changed the file path for each song and it seems I have to manually change
the file path of each individual song before ...

When trying to use WMP10, I get an error message stating the version of media
technologies is no longer compatible with my version of windows. However, I
check in my c drive and my windows folder states I am running the current
version of Media Player 10 and all of its components ...

Last night, I installed VLC media player, to watch movies on. Today, I have
no sound at all in WMP....I can see videos if I play them, but they have no
sound, and audio files just play without any sound. I'm assuming the problem
has to do with the VLC player....any suggestions ...

ripped own cd collection to WMP, as a .wma, which won't let me play it in
other programs, says that the music is protected contect.  I have the correct
licenses for the music.

I recently reformatted my computer. I reinstalled everything I think I needed
to including drivers. When I try to play a video on WMP 10 all I get is sound
and a black screen that fails to show me any video. Even when I try to stream
a video, or download one from the internet. ...

This is a strange one ... in the past 2 days whenever I try to play a *.wmv
file W.M.P. crashed with an error message.  Some of these files I already had
saved and were able to play before and some are ones I just downloaded to try
out and can play using a 3rd party player.

When I try to synch music from Windows Media Player to my Palm, it doesn't
detect the Palm.  The Palm has Real Player on it, and the music says it's mp3
format, not WMA.  I've done it in the past, but can't remember how I did it.  
As I recall, I had Real Player on the PC and did ...

Plays most videos fine except .wmv and .avi
On these the video freezes at the beginning or does not show at all , while
the audio continues fine. Any suggestions?
