When I try to play video from sites that use the windows media player for
example cnn.com and yahoo launch cast every other video has audio and only a
still picture.  I have already updated the media player to version 10 and no
go. Does anyone have any ideas??

Windows media player 10 will not open and play any WMV files in my Hotmail.
It will open and play the same files in my Outlook and Yahoo mail.
This happens on my home computer.

The library seems to assign file names to the wrong music tracts.  I deleted
the CD and re-ripped it and got the same error.  What is going on?

I'm using Windows Media Player 10 on XP SP2. Is it possible to change the
album info before I rip the CD or must I rip the songs first and then go to
each file and change the info there?

Put my CD in, copy it to my computer, but WMP has problems naming the songs -
e.g., 1 CD it gave 10 out of twelve tracks the a name that was NOT the actual

Whilst my computer is idle, on several occassions windows media player
open/boots up, so when I come back to my computer after a period of time
windows media player is open.
WMP works well no problems at all any suggestions please, also ms word does

Under XP Home SP2 WMP 10 works for a while then it won't open.

I am running Win2000 SP4 and installed WMP9.  I am trying to play some WMA
files that have DRM restrictions.  When I tried to install the DRM upgrade to
WMP the thing stopped working entirely.  Now, WMP won't even launch (hangs
then crashes on startup).

I’m running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2, with Windows Media Player
10 version: 10.00.00.3646.

I deleted LowrateSample in an attempt to correct my problem with ripping to
mp3 format.  I wanted to rip at 128, though, and that is no longer available.
Is there a way to rip in 128 mp3 with MP10?
