Help - Can't create folders when burning on WMP10!10 Jan 2006 16:06 GMT5
Quite new to all this but tried burning my first Data CD-RW for use in new
car stereo. Burnt all the albums in order but when I put the CD in the car it
played ok, but didn't separate the albums into folders. When I went back to

Is it just the dumbness of Media Player or can I stop the shuffle mode
playing the same tracks once I add new tracks using "add to now playing"  It
would seem that if I add new tracks while in shuffle mode the stupid thing
repeats tracks all ready played......DOH!!!!

I've received a CD with MP3s, but I cannot play it on any device other than
my computer.  I'd like to be able to save the files as .wma instead of .mp3.

How do I get rid of the 2 second delay between songs when I burn with WMP?

Use to have Media Player 9 (Shows up in Search and in SP2) but cannot open
because screen "Windows Media Technologies" opens and tells me that it is
"incompatible with my current version Windows program". Same msg when tried

stupid question... how can i find out which version of wmp i have?  i did a
windows update a couple of weeks ago, but i wasn't paying attention to which

i keep my playlist in an external file on my desktop (for easy viewing/adding
etc) and simply right-click on the folder and click "play with media player"

When I rip CD Music Files with WMP10 I can no longer download Album info. It

Everytime I open Windows Media Player 10 I get a error message that says "an
internal  application error has occurred" I have tried removing and
reinstalling it and it says that it has to rollover to a previous version
and never does let me remove it.

offline updates and some 8 digit file name that says its a play list

I have a Dell C840 running W2K Pro.
I copied some songs from CD into Media Player 9 but cannot play them back
without interruption.
I've changed the buffer size to 100.  I've set everything I could think of
