The problem is that when i media player plays videos,the videos allways are
in black-white can anyone help me to change this back to colour,i think i
messed it up somewhere in the options or something.

I currently run Windows media player 10.00.00.3802 on Windows XP Media Centre
Edition Version 2002 service pack 2.  When trying to play video links on the
web, I'm asked to install additional plug-ins, yet when I click the link to
find more plug-ins I am told no suitable plug-ins ...

I have a web-site that has my music embedded on each page. When i reboot and
go to my site, I get the message ---'can not create DirectShow player'--- If
i reinstall Win media Player 10, all works again. However, I must re-instal
Win. Media 10 each time.

When i go onto a website that supports WMP and click on a segment of film to
download Windows Media Player opens up and the word "connecting" appears at
the bottom of the WMP but appears NOT to connect. Then when i close WMP i
cannot re-open without the need to re-boot.

I've followed the directions to the tee on burning with the new WMP 10 but
it's not burning.  I select the Start burn and it blinks for a second and
doesn't do anything.  The songs play fine.  I've also tried 2 different cds
for the heck of it.

When i put a audio CD in my computer, it automaticlly launches media player,
and starts riping the CD. i want to be asked if i want to rip it before it
starts doing it. I have been through the options on the Media player and dont
seem able to change it, can anyone help.

My sound is very distorted.  I am using Media Player 10 and Windows XP.  I
don't have this problem when I use Realplayer, so I don't think it's my
speakers.

Hi, I have WMP 10 and a nice widescreen laptop.  Why is it that when I watch
a nice widescreen movie in fullscreen the player leaves a thick black frame
around the entire image instead of fullscreening it?

I "rolled back" my WMP 10 to an earlier point where Microsoft says it
was last properly installed, intact and uncorrupted.  BUT ...
When I took the time to read the accompanying setup instructions, I was
astonished!  The Microsoft  writers have done their best to obscure and

i used to able to rip and burn cd's. now my pc will not read any cd's. so far
i have not found any help.
