Hey can anyone help, my music wont play on the speakers but it will in my
sisters work area.  anyone got any ideas to get it working again in mine?

Is there a way for me to achieve mono sound (right/left channels
condensed to mono) and still use my Sony earbud headphones?
Here at work I have to use just one earbud so I'm missing everything
from the right channel.

I have WMP10 installed and every time I try to go to the Walmart.com link to
purchase new music, I get a line that says:  "We notice you are not using WMP

when I try to watch a video on the windows help center, it says I need a
plugin. so I download WM10 and try to install it. When I do, it says that I
have a version on my computer that is newer than the one I am downloading.
but, it won't come up when I try to view a video online. ...

When I had version 9 I created a new shortcut in the StartUp folder so that
if the computer was restarted for any reason WMP would be restarted play a
particular playlist.  Worked very well.
I have tried the same thing with version 10 and is DOES NOT seem to work.

When ending one track of a CD and starting the other, the CPU usage jumps to
100% and my PC gets frozen until the next track starts. Why is this?

On Tools/Options/Player, the "connect to internet" box routinely unchecks
itself.  Same for the Tools/Options/Privacy "display media information from
the internet" and "update music files by retreivign media info from the
internet".  I check them, then when I close WMP and ...

I would like to sort by artist in the far left column and then sort
alphabetically by title from that artist in the column to its right.  Can it
be done?  I can sort alphabetically by artist but the titles are all jumbled
and not in order.  Makes it hard to find things.

I would like to know if all playlist can be cleared as in a single action,
specifically video playlist ?

I cannot playback an ordinary, store-bought CD with Windows Media Player.  
When I try, I get an error message that reads:
"Cannot play back the file.  The format is not supported. (Error=80040265)"

I can't reproduce no sound from my PC. I can only ear music or sounds using
heasphones connected to the PC.
All the tests I made to the hardware are o.k. and the dispositives show that
are working normaly.

I have the latest version of WMP (10.00.00.36.46) on two Dell laptops.  On my
personal one, everything works fine.  My work one, however, does not
automatically recognize any of the artist information when I put a CD in.  My
personal one recognizes the info using the same CD's.
