Windows Media Player 10 does not detect any f my two cd/dvd drives, so
therefore, i cannot burn cd's. i can rip, but not burn.
i tried to fix it, but i think it's a reistry problem, (the registry key)

When I put a DVD into WMP10 on my laptop, after the still FBI and warning
screens, it throws an Unhandled Exception and exits. The weird thing is, I'm

the music is too loud. Not the volume of the speakers, but, for instance,

In Media Player 10, I have ripped some wma's from my cds.
In Media Player 10, I have purchased some wma's from MSN Music.
Both play fine on my pc.
The ripped files play fine in my car stereo.

I am just about to upgrade to WMP 10 and would like to know how to import my
WMP 9 library to WMP 10 and which files I need to backup, I have 1600 MP3's
all organised in to my own playlists with all media info etc and would not

Can I convert an mp3 file to a wav file using Windows media Player 10. If so,
can the wav file be cut down to just use a few seconds of it and save that a
separate wav file?

When i turn on the media player10, i couldn't hear a thing. There is no prob
with my speaker, i still can listen to music using Real Player but not with
Media Player. Why is it so? Can someone help???!!!

Try to play "wav" Windows Audio File  and get
"You've encountered error message C00D0019 while using Windows Media Player.
We are investigating the cause of this error. We will post more information
about this error when it becomes available. "
