When I want to burn my protected Music Files, I need to use WMP. Well, since shortly, under the part 'BURN CD' of WMP, I got the message: Could not find any CD or DVD burning device. But I can burn CD's with Nero for exemple.

i try to play a .mkv file using vlc. The player is fine and there isnt any picture shown but there is sound coming out. I have played other .mkv files and they are fine. I am not sure what is the problem of the file that i cant play. Thanks for your help.

I have looked at as many references to library problems as i could, but found none with quite my issue! I have been using MP for several years and V10 since it came out. Over the last few days, my version just locks up on loading up the library view.

WMP starts to open, but quits before it opens all the way. I am using OSX 10.4 and it used to work fine. I re-installed a new version, same thing happens.

When I rip a cd to my harddrive everything first worked fine. I can't remember that I changed the settings but something very irritating happens. Because I want to put all my CD's on harddrive, I'm ripping them all.

I will play a movie file (Not when online) and instead of playing within the player itself, a 2nd window will pop up and the movie will play there. I find this annoying and useless. How do I prevent this from happening regardless of whether I am online or not?
