When trying to rip tracks from a cd, track 1 rips at blazing speed, track 2
rips considerably slower, track 3 is a crawl, and by track 4, WMP just
stops.

can i burn not copywrited video onto dvd using windows media player? i have
played the clips on windows media player but cannot figure out how to burn to
dvd.

Hi - I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V2030.  I downloaded a DVD decoder
from Cyberstore, but I still cannot play DVD's (the error comes up saying i
need a decoder).  Any suggestions?  The DVD is a Phillips CD RW/DVD SCB5265.

I have had this problem for a while - I have also reinstalled my OS etc. so
I know it's not a problem with my current software but...

Like in Winamp there are several such plug ins that do this, I am new to

All of a sudden any .asx or .asf videos will not play, I only get the audio.
I have installed all the codec's I thought relevant. It always worked, but
haven't played them in a while. Others have no problem playing them.

Can anyone tell me how to disable the drop-down showing input history which
sometimes appears when I enter edit mode on a tag on the WMP9 media library?
Else tell me how to exit the drop-down without losing the edit mode and
selection of track position? RETURN loses both.

If I add say Neil Young to the playlist and then add several albums as
separate files to Neil Young, WMP lists every song separately. I have 20+
albums and it simply opens up 267 songs rather than allow ...

I am unable to burn p3 cds with Media Player 10.  I get a message that the
module is unregistered and that Microsoft is working on this problem.  Has
microsoft solved this problem?  How am I to know?  I've searched the forums
