From recorded tv on a mce device I produced a wmv-file with dcut that plays
well in any player, but not in mce and media player 10: the aspect ratio is
wrong. It is practically square. What can be problem?

Struggling, PC went down a few weeks ago and I lost media player 9
tried to update with 10 but will not fully load says missing registry
keys. Cannot go back to WMP9 as detects newer versionn WMP10.

I recently purchaed two Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-110 D drives, they both worked
fine until recently, now when I try to play a dvd,  I get the following
message ,

Whenever I start WMP (10.00.00.3802), it thrashes my (external) hard drive
for about 2-3 minutes while it constantly opens and closes six (out of
several hundred) of my desktop.ini files.

When I open WMP 10 I get the active window in title bar and Task manager
shows it running and all is well, but all I can see is my desktop. I have

I have some (MP3) tracks that were ripped from a CD by someone else.
Unfortunately and inconveniently (for me) all the "Title" etc information is
in Dutch. Is there a way to change this information? There's no obvious way
to do it with WMP.
