When I try to play windows Media Player I receive this Message
The File  wmplayer.exe has a version number of 10.0.0.3803 where 10.0.0.382
was expected
Windows Media Player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled.

I am using a laptop connected to a Samsung SyncMaster 710N external monitor.
If I play a video in Windows Media player 10, I can see it on my laptop
screen but not on the external monitor. The WMP skin and all the controls
show up but no video. Anyonw know the fix?

Recently, we purchased an album from the MSN Music website. Once the
download was complete, we tried to play the music in Windows Media Player 10,

Aloha, Before my son left for Iraq when he lived with me
he knew how to take songs or video and in Media player
he could control how much of the song or video he wanted.
Thus controlling how big the file was to send as an attachment.

How do I remove radio stations from "my favorites," "recently played," and
"featured stations?"  The options to delete from playlist are blanked out
when I right-click, and the delete button doesn't work.

but when I move the slide it

Well I start by opening up Windows Media Player as normal but then as soon as
I open my playlist and the song starts playing it crashes and comes up with

When displaying "All Music" in the Library view, while most lines in the
view show white text on a black background quite a number of lists are white
on white when not selected and white on grey when selected.
What is this signifying?  Is there a way to get a higher contrast

I made a video clip.
I want to send it as an attachment.
The e mail programme ISP's will only allow 10MB. How do I take off 1.1 MB's
of the clip??

Dear Microsoft, please add a theater mode to WMP11!
In other words a setting that will allow an experience similar to media
center when playing music. Album art, playlists & jukebox mode with a simple
interface that can be controlled by remote control.

For the past week or so every time I try to start Win Media Player 10 (Win
XP Pro) I get the error message saying that "Windows Media Player has
encountered a problme and has to close . . ."  WHen I click on the details I

i installed service pack 2 today and now i cannot use MP
to lisent to a stream that worked fine before SP2
installation.
i get the C00D1199 error.
