I would like to transfer all my music to a new computer. Since all is on only
one of my disks, I will simply hook up the disk to the new machine.
However I don't just want the music files, I also want the individual play
counts. Where are these stored and how can I transfer those ...

i am using WMP10 and used to be able to burn cd fine. now i add playlist to
burn list it just stops on inspecting 1st track. i have nero fast burning
installed.

WMP fails to recognize my cd/dvd burner a Sony DVD RW DRU-700 A unable to
burn anything in Media Player.
Also I cannot get Auto run to work have tried everything ie
Registry/TweekUI/and Microsofts Repair Tool nothing works can anyone help ?

For anything played off the internet....my player does not have sound.  Ex: I
go to WWE.com to play a video feed.  It plays the video but no sound comes
out.  I know my speakers work because my CD Rom works.  What could be the

Ive reloaded AOL9.0SE and now no matter what I do AOL Media Player come up
when I play clips. Ive tried unchecking appropriate boxes for that player and

the volume level on ripped tracks seem to be too low - I play a lot of music
on my smartphone, bu the volume is too low (or at least, the phone doesn't
have much amplification). How can I increase the recorded volume of the music?

Recently, my WMP will only play the audio but I cannot get the video.  I have
WMP10 and XP.  The program shows on the taskbar and I can hear it just fine

Windows Media Player Version 10.00.00.3990. Windows XP Pro SP2. I have a mpg
file of 44 secs duration being hosted by www.streamload.com. I have placed
the URL to this file on my own website and when selecting it, WMP determines
the duration to be 19sec and only plays this amount ...

now I can't open the player at all.  It just beeps and says "an internal

Hi, I had the same problem and, I couldn't reinstall the WMP 10 as well,
because of this messege(A more recent version of WMP is already intalled).
But finally I fixed it by removing patches 910393 and
903157, and now it's working as it was before.

I spend a lot of time getting the tags in my MP3 correct so that my music is
easier to search.  However I am at a loss as to why when I import the mp3s
into Media Player, then listed tracks by album,  the tracks of an album will
be sometimes be listed under the album name and ...
