When I have WMP open, if I right click the words "Window Media Player" in

I've given up trying to get rid of this piece of crap. After it plays a
video, I can't switch screens or nothing. It just stays there locking up
everything until I close it. I tried uninstalling it but it just keeps coming

Everything I've seen about using 3rd party firewalls like Zone Alarm
basically says, "Don't use a 3rd party firewall."  I'm comfortable with Zone
Alarm, and would like to keep using it.  
Is it possible to use Zone Alarm with the Windows Media Player?  If anyone

My media player 10 does not repeat songs when I click on the repeat funtion.

After installing the recent windows update on 18th Feb'06, all the high res
files are displayed as black and white in WMP10.
To confirm the issue, i had restored it to an earlier date and
everything worked well. Again after the windows update, the problem

I have tried everything in all the posts to fix the problem with Windows
Media Player.  Nothing has worked.  I have all the correct files.  Now I

I'm trying to watch video streaming from school and when I increase the
window view size it goes blurry. I can't watch math videos in a tiny window.
How can I fixed the blurriness??

I've recently found that I can no longer play streaming files in windows
media player on this computer that work perfectly well on other computers.
The explanation I get is as follows:
If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different

I've used WMP for a variety of audio and video files, CD's and websites, so
I know it works.  However, occasionally I'll click on a button on a website
which supposedly accesses an MP3 file.
