Ok I have the latest Service Pack 2 download and all that for XP. Somehow,
whever I am online and want to watch an embedded video or streaming video on
my browser, Windos Media 10 only shows half of its interface and doesn't do
anything. It just shows the top half of the media ...

Movie Trailers won't play in Media Player V1025 Apr 2006 16:23 GMT1
I have never had problems in the past with Windows Media player but all of
a sudden I cannot successfully play movie trailers from www.imdb.com.
Video files on my hard drive play fine through media player as do mp3 files,
but on a website when the player is embedded in the page it ...

I installed the illiminable ogg vorbis directshow filters from

The work really fine, mediaplayer is able to play ogg files fine... but

Just a recent time all my Library songs are playing very scrated kind song
yet all have played fine just recently decided to sound off why would this

I received an error message 800703E7 while using Windows Media Player. Now my
Window Media Player can't play my songs that were downloaded from Walmart.com.

I accidently deleted Windows Media Player in my Program Files folder (though
some of the files were still there).  I tried to reinstall but it keeps
giving me a message that says I already have the latest version installed.  
What can I do?

I am currently running Windows XP and have tried numerous times to upgrade
from Media Player 9 Series (Version 9.00.00.3250) to Windows Media Player 10
but am constantly getting the error message:
"This version of Windows Media Technology is incompatiable with this version

On my XP Pro SP1 computer, I was able to remove WMP 10,9 and make 8 inert. I
associated WMP files to 6.4. So, while 8 was still there it was not
installed and 6.4 became the default WM player as I wanted. I used this
command to remove versions 10 and 9:
