I have a irritating problem. If I want to watch streaming .mpg clips from
the internet quicktime begins to play instead of Windows media player 10.
I've been in the options and everything is allright there.
Can somebody please help me?

I don't have any sound device working properly after download of windows
media 10.  It gives the error sound device is currently in use and sound is

I am having trouble viewing .wmv files.  
The video is blurred and faded,pastel colors with a tendency toward pink.
I downloaded WMP10 and have the same problem as WMP9.

I just created a page with a java applet in it, and embedded it into an
ASX metafile.
When I launch the stream using the ASX file, Windows Media Player
prompts me about using the enhanced content (bla bla...), I clicked Yes,

When I choose to show the "Artist", "Album", "Title", or other such field in
Windows Explorer for a folder containing media files, I do not see any
information there.
Additionally, when I right-click on a media file, there is no "License" tab

I tried to play mpeg movies, video dat and windows media audio file in the
windows media player 10 but I could only display the windows media audio file
.....In the older version of Windows media player, all of three file types

cannot play the protected file because the license is corrupted. If you
previously backed up your licenses, try restoring them." I do not know how to
sort this out as i don't know if the license was backed ...
