WMP 11 can't be removed from the Add Remove programs update section - On
clicking on remove, it does something and claims it is rolled back to the
previous version, but it's still the same.  System Restore is off.
*Other than an upgrade install*, does anyone have any ideas how to ...

Music and video does not come as a continuous stream, but have short cuts at
uneven intervals and not at the samte places when played over again. What
can the trouble be?

down loaded wmp11 beta version,and it works perfectly.However I can no
longer watch videos from bofunk,dumb videos or watch films.com.Just naming a

When I open enhancements and pick color chooser;the option to set the

I have a unique situation with my computer that I can't figure out.
WMP - no matter which version - and I have uninstalled / re-installed all
versions - won't play and presents a 'close application' dialog box saying
there is something wrong with my sound card and suggesting that ...

I downloaded WMP 11 Beta, want to go back to WMP !0. How do I un-install WMP?

My pc is a Dell about two years old.  Laptop.  Centrino chip.  I cannot
get the Windows Media Player to start at all.  It used to work fine,
but for some reason now I cannot get it to run at all.  I tried
selecting the icon in the "Start" menu, under "Programs", and nothing.

Hello, I did a windows security update today (I've not been connected to the
internet for a while and have updated media player since I was last online
for a new MP3 player) however when I click on the Media Player icon I get the
message "the file wmp.dll has a version number 10 ...

Windows media player 10 keeps giving me a error msg saying (specified module
could not be found) when i try to play videos,music anything its useless at
the moment i have tried allsorts to get it sorted but cnt manage to do it
wich is driving me crazy. all i wish to do is sort it ...

IE is using default settings.
WMP10 is using default settings.
WMP10 won't play wmv streams from all websites.
eg:  http://www.cbs.com/

if I install WMP 11 shall I uninstall WMP 10 ? Can I use them separately?

I've been trying to take advantage of Sky by Broadband and install it. It
appears it runs through media player and installs an update (various updates
actually) to media player the main one being this:

WMP10 reports that is has ripped 1% of a music track and stops ripping.
It always worked fine, this problem occured a few days ago.
A friend copied the same album without a problem.
What can I do?

For the longest I have not been able to get the Windows Media Player into
