After installing WMP11 (did I see it installing a User Mode Driver Framework
during setup??), after workstation lock/unlock, I no longer have any sound.  
Not just from WMP... from Windows itself.

been ripped into Media Player without there being a definite break in between

One of my most treasured features of wmp 10 appears to have been lost in
WMP11.  In WMP10 you could select a bunch tracks which may have the wrong
genre applied and drag it to the correct genre.  This avoided text input
errors and sped things up greatly.

The Microsoft site clearly say's that Napster WILL work within WMP11, so I
downloaded it, and, first impressions were good.
However, when clicking on "online stores" it say's "there are no online
stores for my location"....

why is it when i start playing my mp3 songs and start to use msn, or open a
word document or even browing the internet the media player takes too much
CPU usage

Theres a playlist listing in media player thats blank with no content.  It
plays nothing and cannot be deleted.  I've deleted all the playlists in My
Playlist directorys but still it wont disappear.

Having just downloaded WMP11 there's a couple of features I used in WMP10
which I cant find in WMP11
1)  In WMP10 on the left hand pane there was an option to view all music in

When I try to burn a cd it tells me that no cd or dvd burner has been
detected, press F5 to refresh player. Well when I press F5 nothing happens, I
do have a cd rom but do I need to download a specific driver???

About 10% of the mp3 files I have will not play in either WMP10 or 11.
