I love the new look of Windows Media Player, but I am having a few problems
with the library.
1) Some of my albums are split into several groups. I check the song tags
and they all show exactly the same information. How do I combine them into

When I try to clear the value of a field for a group of tracks in
Advanced Tag Editor, it doesn't seem to let me. If I check the field and
delete its contents, when I hit "OK", the changes are not saved; it

OK I downloaded the beta of WMP 11 this morning and suddenly I can't play any
of my DRM protected content which includes the many songs I've purhcased
online from walmart.com. When I try to play these songs that previously
worked fine with WMP 10, I get a "Windows Media Player ...

I get the same error message about there being the same playlist name, type a
different name, when I try to rip from music CDs, CDs I have successfully
copied before, and I get the SAME message when I try to backup or restore
licenses. I uninstalled and reinstalled program, I ran ...

I have uninstalled it 3 times and it wont go away!
Anyone have any ideas?

1. Go to Library view.
2. Select artists.
3. Go to an artist with multiple albums.
4. Right click on artist and choose play.

When I click on an attached wave file, WMP will not play the file. If I save
the file then there is no problem playing it. This is a new development. Is
there a seeting that will let me play the file immediately right off the OE
message?

I too keep trying and cannot install WMP 11 beta. I have rollup 2 installed.

How is it possible to play multiple songs in a search result?
Let's say I input a search string and it comes back with different mixes of
the song across five albums;
I'd like to be able to simply play all those iterations of the song.  In

In WMP10 you could right-click on "All Music" in your library list and click
"Play All" to encue all your music to the playing list. In WMP11 I haven't
been able to find that feature. Is it gone or have I simply missed it?
If it's gone, any change it's be reimplemented?

It is now impossible to drag music into a new album like you could in WMP10;
for example if you have a whole album, but for some reason it’s been split up
like, “Nirvana [US]” and “Nirvana [UK]”.
Even if you rename the albums to have the same names they still don’t merge!

I installed URGE and WMP11 today, but when I play any streaming file, it only
plays about 3-4 seconds and then freezes up.  I have to close the program and
restart it.  Downloading the song files from URGE works okay, as does
streaming audio on Rhapsody, so I don't think it's my ...
