Recently I'm getting the following message when I try to run WMP 10: "the file wmp.dll has a version number of 10.0.0.4019 where a 10.0.0.3990 was expected" I’ve tried uninstalling and installing the WMP several times with no luck.

I have downloaded a 45 minute mp3 file from a voice recorder to WMP and only want to keep about 1 minute of critical information on this file. How do i copy only this segment of this file? to another newely named file on WMP Thanks

In WMP 10.00.00.4019 is it possible to export the complete library and playlists etc so that it can be imported to another machine? I always thought it was there but now I need it it seems to have disappeared

Everytime I try to play a .WMV my windows2000 Pro machine freezes. It does not matter which .wmv file I try to play. I hate to reboot my pc everytime I go to a web page that has an embedded movie in it. Any ideas?

I went from XP Home to XP Pro and had to reinstall OS. I backed up music licenses beforehand (music purchased from Walmart). When I tried to restore music licenses I got the error message C00D11CD, which is general error message. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I

How can you access the controls.currentPositionTimecode property in C#? It doesn't appear to be where its supposed to be according to the SDK. In C++ there is the IWMPControls3 interface. Can you implement that in C#? Thanks,

To any users that face the same problem I've been using my media player to watch different dvds from different region and sturggle to change back to the usual region in Australia .. Does anybody have any idea with this problem at all ?
