Recently I'm getting the following message when I try to run WMP 10:
"the file wmp.dll has a version number of 10.0.0.4019 where a 10.0.0.3990
was expected"
I’ve tried uninstalling and installing the WMP several times with no luck.

I have downloaded a 45 minute mp3 file from a voice recorder to WMP and only
want to keep about 1 minute of critical information on this file. How do i
copy only this segment of this file? to another newely named file on WMP

In WMP 10.00.00.4019 is it possible to export the complete library and
playlists etc so that it can be imported to another machine?
I always thought it was there but now I need it it seems to have disappeared

Using Windows XP Pro Version 2002 with Service Pack 2 and Windows Media
Player Verision 10.00.00.4019.  After ripping a CD to the Media Library, I
hit the Find Album Info button, and the info is found without any problems.  
After the info is found, I go to hit the Finish button ...

optimize quality while not needlessly creating excessively long files?

Everytime I try to play a .WMV my windows2000 Pro machine freezes. It does
not matter which .wmv file I try to play. I hate to reboot my pc everytime I
go to a web page that has an embedded movie in it. Any ideas?

Every time I try to play Windows Media 10, i get the message in the blue box.
"WM has encountered an error and needs to close"..Just started yesterday..

I went from XP Home to XP Pro and had to reinstall OS.  I backed up
music licenses beforehand (music purchased from Walmart).  When I tried
to restore music licenses I got the error message C00D11CD, which is
general error message.  Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?  I

I am trying to play a vedio clip. When the vedio clip starts i only get sound
eith no visual. Open for any help in this matter.

How can you access the controls.currentPositionTimecode property in C#?  It
doesn't appear to be where its supposed to be according to the SDK.  In C++
there is the IWMPControls3 interface.  Can you implement that in C#?

Help!  WMP 10 changing my file dates when playing15 May 2006 03:39 GMT2
Whenever I play my .wmv files, the file date automatically updates to
current.  This is super annoying.  I'm using version 10 (had same issue
on version 9)...
I have gone through the various players menu's and have turned off

I am trying to watch a live broadcast on a website through Windows media
player 9 but am having problems.
I click `play` on the player and the player says `connecting to media` and

To any users that face the same problem
I've been using my media player to watch different dvds from different region and sturggle to change back to the usual region in Australia .. Does anybody have any idea with this problem at all ?
