when I close widows media player 11, the process continues to run in the
background.  Is this normal?

In WMP10, I had a folder of tracks and remixes with the album tag of
"singles" and no album artist or track numbers, and each track had it's own
genre and year to it. Now I've installed WMP11, it seems to be doing it's own
thing - changing genres, track numbers and years, putting ...

My WMP 11 beta 2 doesn't play short movies from the internet as well as sound
from radio-stations. Who knows what I can do about it.

I am curious as to why my WMP 11 crashes every time I try to play video that
requires I accquire a license. I've also noticed there is'nt an "Acquire
license" check box under the privacy settings tab. So how do I fix this,
becuase it is just a tad annoying.

The attached link is sample video from Lost.  I can't get smooth video with
WMP10.  The same video plays fine with VLC, Nero, WinDVD, etc.
I'm using the Intel Media Accelerator 950 for video hardware and NVIDIA
PureVideo for DVD playback.

This computer is a stand alone unit running XP2 SP2 with a dial-up

I have xp home edition.  I need to totally uninstall wmp10 all the way down
to the registry keys.  I do not have an xp cd.  I cannot rollback to an
earlier version.  My system restore doesn't go back far enough to do a
restore.  I just need step by step instructions to uninstall ...

 Does anyone know how to move an album from "Unknown" to the proper
Composer?  I have Jimi Hendrix listed with one of his albums, but a different
Hendrix album is stuck under the composer "Unknown".  Any help would be
appreciated, thank you.  I'm using media player 10.

   How do I edit a track that I burned to a cd compilation so that it will
match the actual album cover of the song?
   Specifically it is My Immortal from Evanescence-which on the original cd

Im using the beta version of WMP11 and can't play HD WMV files (eg the halo 3
trailer) it played fine in WMP10 but won't now. Im using ATI x700 with the
