Version 10, XP service pack 2.I'm going nuts trying to rip from CD's without

Over the last several years, WMP has gotten hard and harder to use. I just
spent neaarly an hour just trying to turn off visualizations. I find
configuring and using programs like Visual Studio 2005 much, much easier than
WMP 9.

Have a Dell notebook with WMC/SP2 & WMP 10 build #4019 on it.
When you attempt to burn a cd, you get the message "Interface Not
Registered".
