When I play CD's or listen to music video clips in Windows Media Player it is very hard to understand the words and the music. It sounds like it is in a tunnel and has a muffled, hollow sound. I have fiddled with Device Manager, but nothing seems to make much difference

In Media Player I have changed the effects so the songs sound like they're being played in the shower and they sound echo-ey and distant. How do I get the songs to sound normal again? The drop down list I found let you choose how songs would sound in the shower, garage, etc.

I burned a compilation CD using Nero Express 6.6 with MP3s from my computer library and when I play it using WMP 10, all tracks are unrecognized. I realize that WMP can't locate the album on the Internet because it doesn't exist, but why can't it read the song title/artist name ...

I can't burn any of the songs that are saved as .ASF file. No error messages, it just simply doesn't burn the songs. Other songs that are saved in WMA are able to burn onto the CD, only ASF files are unable to burn. Can anyone help? Thanks.
