Any streaming audio source(tried yahoo and blizzard) causes the browser to shutdown. I've tried w/ and w/o my firewall.

I tried to install WMP 9 after a major crach of XP Pro, Gave up and went back to 2000 Pro. I get the following error when I try to install or run WMP9. "Procedure entry point GetuserGeoID could not be located in dynamic link library Kernel32.dll"

I've tried playing Both Cd and DVD rom drikves and I get the error message 8007001E and it states " The system cannot read from the specified device" I'm running XP. thanks for any help !

When accessing streaming video from the internet or stored clips the window says connecting then ready but never goes to the buffering stage or connectioin I have tried refreshing but nothing works

Windows Media Player on a friend's computer stopped working and she recieved a message that the gdiplus.dll file could not be located ..... reinstall. She downloaded player from windows, installed and received the same message. Any suggestions?

hey folks... when I click on more than one movie file for downl;oad the first stops playing when the next one is finished downloading. is there a way to prevent this so the next vid doesn't play until the first is completed? thanks!

I have DRM protected music files "rented" from online servie. I want to be able to see the expiration date in WMP library. Any way to do this for all files (add column to WMP?) instead of having to pull up property window for a single track?

I have some instructional videos that I would love to be able to burn the sound to CD. I have a 30hr car driving trip and would like to be able to listen to the videos. Is it possible to burn the sound from a windowsmediaplayer file to CD?
