I’ve recently noticed that the WMP 10’s update number KB911565 caused me
corruptions on all videos using another codec than WMV/WMA, such as the DivX
videos.

Why doesn't CD contents information get burned along with the tracks?

I just recorded some wav files and would like to convert them to WMA
format. Can I do this somehow without burning them to CD first?
WMP 10 can rip music from CD, but I cant find a command to do the same
on Wav files I already have on my hard disk.

yeah, it keeps coming up with an error message stating that the setup could
not complete and that it completed with some errors because some playlist
files could not be moved.  how do i fix this?

Has anyone noticed yet that the two navigation buttons are not in correct
alignment.
they need to move the back and forward buttons up a little bit.  I found
this on XP and Vista versions.  Who missed that when putting this build

I have a music directory that was populated by wmp through ripping, it is
several folders deep as follows:  music\<artistname>\<albumname>
When i go to monitor folders to add files to the library, it only finds like
4 of the 50+ artists i have and adds the 60 songs that make up ...

when i rip a disc i like editing the names in advance of the rip.  but when i
edit one track's genre all the genre fields switch to that.  edit the next
track and it happens again.  it enders the 'genre' field pretty useless!  is
there a way to allow editing each genre field??

WMP 11 is not recognizing any blank CD-Rs that I put into my drives. I could
burn CDs in WMP10 and still can in any other program. I can in WMP 11 rip
from my CDs and play CDs just fine. Any idea how to fix please?

Does anyone know how to change the default behavior of Windows Media Player
10 so that when I am surfing the net and click on a streaming media link it
doesn’t clear the existing play list?
