Where can I find the File Open option in WMP 11 Beta?

When I play a song with the new player, after a few minutes it closes out by
itself. I'm sick of it.  When I play a video it doesn't close.  Does anyone
know what the problem might be?

I was watching a DVD the other night in full screen on my Tablet PC.
Suddenly the tablet went into irreversible shutdown/hibernation mode due
to lack of battery juice. I didn't get any power warning - I guess the
system popup was suppressed. I don't think I had this problem on ...

I have noticed that in my library for the WMP 11 beta that
occassionally songs from the same album will be seperated into
"different" yet "the same" albums.  For example, album X from artist Y
may have multiple entries with songs 1-3, 4-7, 8, 9-10 all in seperate

I just got the WMP 11 and, just like 10, it doesn't have the cd text on it
when i burn a cd. Is that going to change in the regular version of 11 or the
near future?

I was hoping that WMP11 would allow you to rate songs from the
miniplayer, but it looks like it won't... rating songs takes too long
and can't be done without switching contexts!

When I loaded software for my Sandisk mp.3 player it automatically upgraded
me from WMP 9 to 10. Since then I have not been able to play any of my mpeg

Hello,
When I play a Audio CD, the track/artist information is not downloaded
anymore like it used to be. It did it in older versions of WMP.  Can anyone
tell me why this is? These are acutal cds that were purchased not burned ones.

Using WMP 10 on WIN XP. Purchased an external HD on which to put my
extensive music files. I can rip new music to the external drive, but
cannot access the music on the drive in order to add it to the library,
play it, etc.

I searched on several terms and don't see anything which sounds like this, so
...
I uninstalled WMP 11, which restored WMP 10.  Now WMP 10 seems unable to
connect to the Internet.  It gives me a "Premium Services" message when I try

Can't  make anything that i am watching  briter  or  darker   ,,on  WMP 10
was   very easy  to do that   ,but on  WMP 11  I can't  find the control !!
