when i start wmp11 i am presented with the welcome dialog. i can select
"express" or "custom" but the "next" button is greyed out and frozen.
additionally, my wma playback skips now and i'd really prefer to revert to
wmp10 if i can't get this fixed.

how do i slow down the speed for media player 9. all my music is playing too
fast

I can watch videos on windows media player on my laptop I tried connecting to
the t.v via an s-cable - I can see the computer screen etc on the t.v but
where the movie is meant to be playing its just blank

WMP 11 won't connect to the internet to play streaming media or pretty much
anything else.  I tried uninstalling and going back to version 10, but the
problem persists.  (and of course I've tried all the faqs and done everything

When I try to view the Media Guide in my Windows Media Player 9, I get a DNS
error.  I can go to Internet Explorer and the site www.windowsmedia.com will
open.
When I check my Westell Modem for error logs, it states that there was an

ripping my music Cd's via Windows media player runs just fine and fast.
doing the same with itunes, my CD drive is slowing down and the speed is
frustrating, it takes 30 minutes for one music CD....
have all new versions of itunes and quick time...

When ever I exit the program it takes like 5 sec to stop playing and my dvd
drive spins up every time.

After using ctrl-E to get to the search bar, entering text will produce hits
beneath it.  One can't get to those hits w/ the keyboard, down arrow doesn't
work and tab doesn't hit it either.
Repro:

After reinstalling WMP10 I'm unable to load more than one file at a time.
No error message.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

I recieve this message when opening the program, it only started after I
downloaded the newest version which at the time I believe was 9.0 or 10.0.
Now, I can't burn cd's or send my downloaded songs to my mp3 player, I can
only listen on my computer, before I could send the songs ...

Sometimes I can find the album on Amazon but the Windows Media Player's

something like a book's ISBN for albums or songs?
