Need to uninstall 11.  It is not compatible with major service I'm paying
for.  Is there a way without restore point. I have other porgrams I've
downloaded since I added WMP 11 in May.

Ok - I finally figured out how to revert to WMP 10.  I opened the WMP 10
setup executable in Windows/System32/DLL cache and clicked install.
The WMP 11 installation dialog box popped up after rebooting, but when I
clicked 'next' in order to install it, another dialog box popped up ...

I installed WMP11 Beta and now I cannot play any of the music on my
hardrive and Napster will not even open. Is there a patch to correct this?

This is all of a sudden, as it was working for many months, and all of sudden

I brough four songs on windows media player two days ago. When the first one
started downloading it stopped at 99% and it won't go any farther. It shows
up in the library but it says I can't play it. And since it was the first

I'm having no luck finding a codec for WMP10 that can handle h.264 technology
(.mp4 files).  It's supposed to be open source.  QuickTime plays these files
with no problem, but I'd rather use WMP.
Anybody know anything about any available WMP plugin for h.264?

WMP 10 was working perfectly until the most recent security fixes.  Now,
whenever I use it to play online content, I get the message Windows Media
Player has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the

I use WMP 11 with XP Pro SP2. When I open any mpg video file, I cannot fast
forward using the slider button below the video. The slider consistently
blinks and each time I click on the slider the video restarts. This only
