i have set windows media player as the defualt for mp3s, but when i click on an mp3 to play it nothing happens. i can only play tracks in windows media player playlists. what can i do?

Why does WMP 11 "unpack" songs from an album. Each track is displayed individually (from some albums) when browsing by album when they should all be consolidated into one album. The ID tags are quite correct, I have checked that already.

I tried downloading a song from msn.com and in the download status window, the song in question is stuck at 95%. Its been that way for over an hour. How do I reset the download so I can continue downloading songs??

I just downloaded Win Player 10 after I tried to open my old media player and it said an internal application error has occoured. How do i fix this when no other information is given.. It doesn't say what internal application and i can't seem to get access to the program itself

As I type this question, the MSN store is downloading a John Mellencamp song again and again and again. I have it, like, fifty times now, and I can't get it to stop. I went to the Firewall and made the MSN Store a NOT exception, yet still these downloads continue.

It would appear that my sound device has been removed! The error message reads Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer.
