In our company we have Windows Media Player 9 installed on all computers.
When we record video files, I save them as .WMV files so that everyone on
the network can play the files with WMP 9.
I am just compiling all our video files from past and present and organising

When I try to play DVDs using WMP 11 I get the sound but no picture,
strangely enough, when trying to play the same DVD using Power DVD v5 I get
picture but no sound.
Any suggestions please?

can I somehow use a MTP device like a "normal" drive? I have some older
applications that only can work with drives but not with MTP devices.

When I play a DVD I can't see the root menu or the title menu. I get the FBI
warning and the logo screens of the DVD manufacturer/producer.  But then,
instead of a root menu, I just get a black screen.  Ditto if I try to open
the title menu.  On the blacked out root menu/title ...

Here is the problem.  I can see the URGE home page, but if I click on
anything else I don't see the URGE content.  For example I can see the New
Releases o the home page, but when I click it a new page appears that is all
black.  If I click Radio, I see the listing of radio ...

I added 2 album of mp3 files in the WMP10 library. When I want to modify and
add information (Art...) of the album by the metaservices.windowmedia.com, I
clic rigth on the album, and clic on finding "album informations". For some
album, I get information of the entire Album ...

during my last query..."When installing WMP 11, it says that the installation
cant be
complete....During the install process, "MLS Dbexport DLL" and "DRM Migrate
EXE" encounter errors and need to close...Anyone know how I can fix this?

Is there a way to show the total time for a playlist in WMP 11?

Hi - I installed WMP 11 Beta from the Microsoft website.  Windows Media
Player 11 is really nice except for it trying to contact the 'store' of your
choice each time you start the program.  I have had enough of that.
So, I tried to uninstall WMP 11 Beta through the Control Panel, ...

I have WMP10 installed, and on my main profile it works fine, but as soon as
I open it on the other profile, it freezes completely.  Can't move the
window or anything.  Have to use Task Manager to kill it.
I tried reinstalling it, and also upgrading to WMP11, but even that freezes ...

Ok this is weird, I've upgraded to WMP11, and I'm using the new Urge service,
when I download an album to my library, it works fine, sorta. I get the album
to show up in my library in WMP11 with all the album art, but when I go to
the actual location on the hard drive, there is ...

So why can't I close wmplayer in Task Manager? When I do it automatically
restarts! I don't want it eating up resources, so how do I get rid of it?

When I installed WMP11, only four of the playlists I created in WMP10 showed
up.
Is there any way to move the playlists from 10 to 11?
