WMP 10,  on XP Home SP2.
When playing a created playlist, some downloaded MSN music cannot be found
by WMP 10.  When I right on the file and select error detail, it says the

Recently any videos I play in WMP 10 are appearing with a pink/purple effect.
I checked the Video Settings (View->Enhancements->Video Settings) and these
are all at the default position. Any help is appreciated.

What do I need to do to install media player when it give me an error messgae
with"this version of media player is not compatble with the version of your
window?  i've window XP home with service pack 2.  Player 10 was installed
and used just fine before the error came up.

When a piece of music has multiple movements such as a symphony, the player
or play for sure devices consider the movements separate pieces of music and
will play them separately when playing things in random/shuffle mode.  Does

Have been trying to listen to previews of tracks on some sites and it says
"Audio requires windows media player", i do have it insalled on my system but
what do i do to make it configure with the internet? is there something i
need to do to set it up?

Hope someone can help.
I'm currently having a problem in playing DVDs. They all get as far as the
main menus, but then the application hangs when trying to play the main movie
or when selecting a scene.

I have downloaded wmp11 three times now and I keep running into the same
situation.
Wmp11 on about 50% of my albums(both purchased and ripped from cd's I own)
the player plays about 4sec of the songs with no audio and then moves to the

I'm using WMP 11 and there doesn't seem to be the total running time in the
Playllist pane. The times of the individual tracks are there, but the total -
which was at the bottom in v.10 - is missing.
Anyone know where/if there's a setting to get it back?

I have audio but only a black screen when I try to play video on Windows
Media Player 7 on my Mac, with Mac OS 9.2. I tried to drag the Windows Media
folder to the trash to install a newer version, but I get a message saying I
have insufficient privileges to do that when I try it ...

Can anyone help with this error message on WMP Version 10, Windows XP.  I am
trying to link to a media stream and keep getting the C00D1197 - cannot open
file - message.  I have gone into WMP Tools, Options, Network and checked all
boxes etc.
