I'm trying to add music to a slide show but i keep getting a protected
message drm. how do i allow it to import?

I have used the advanced tag editor to reset meta data such as album name and
then applied the meta data.
Then using the find album information I notice that it has searched using
the old meta data even though selecting refine search shows the newly entered

I've noticed occasionally, when using the find album information, that a
window comes up showing the album and a list of ALL the tracks on the album
and a question 'Is this your Album?'.
Also, and even more occasionally, it seems to allow me to search by artists

My WMP 11 (current beta) cannot connect to the online stores or look up media
info, but can connect from the tools and help menus to WMP online, downloads,
skins, etc. When clicking "Find album info" I get a window that says "IE
cannot display the web page" with redir ...

We have an exchange student coming from Japan.  If we make a "Photo Story 3"
presentation while she is here will she be able to view it on her computer in
Japan?  If not any suggestions on how to create digital images here and view
them there?

When you did a file search in WMP 10 (F3), new files were added, but also
deleted files found were removed from the library.  WMP 11 doesn't seem to do
this. If I deleted files from my HD without going through WMP 11, WMP doesn't

Half the time when I play music or videos I can't open other videos or music
and WIndows Media Player 11 get's locked in memory taking up 96 to 99% of the
CPU resources when it does. I have to open task manager and manually force
the process to be closed each time so I can load ...

I was trying to burn an audio CD (all my files were in .mp3 format) and all
appeared to be working until I clicked "Burn."  An error message popped up
saying "Interface not Registered."  There was no problem with the CD-- it
came from a pack of brand new music CD-Rs and I even ...

In WMP10, under Tools > Options > Performace, there is an option to buffer
content for x amount of seconds. Does this mean it will buffer for x seconds
before playback? I am trying to stream large (30mb) wav files over a DSL
connection and the connection is just a little too slow ...

There are 3 things that I would like to see implemented in WMP11:
1) Allow sorting of music in the library by folders (file system setup
basically)
2) Allow users to turn off automatic file finding

Ok I got bored of reading through the previous questions on the off chance
that someone had actually managed to solve this damn problem so forgive me I

Well, I had a virus infection on my computer a couple of days ago, and had
all the traces of the infection removed.  Everything is back to normal and
working great.  However, now my windows media player, and IE 7 don't work
correctly.  I think the old virus and the WMP/IE issue ...

i can't get the player to display on the desktop or start.
