Can anyone help. Cannot synchronise windows media player files onto my

Has anyone else noticed that if, having added a track to the library, you
enter the release date for the track, WMP11 deducts 1 from the date. In other
words, a track that was released in 1988 (where 1988 is entered as the date)
will appear as 1987?

I am trying to find a way to disable the ability to rip mp3's or wma's in
media player 10 using group policy. I cant seem to find any info on it. Can
anyone point me in the right direction. This is using Server 2003 by the way.

When I try to open my Windows Media Player, all I get is a gray box with the
message "an internal application error has occurred." There is no information

Why cant one play mp4's in WMP? You can play mp3's so why dont they make it
possible to play mp4's? Any answer please? Maybe its a good idea if they did
enable it?

Hello there, i have a problem with wmp 11 and multiple albums. After ripping
my cds collection i save them at D:\Albums, a directory that i have added at
wmp's monitored folders. However when i have more than 3 albums in the same
directory for example D:\Albums\Dido\1, D ...

The problem is that i captured my miniDV tape using WMM. When I play my clips
from the collection, they sound ok, but when I put them in the Storyboard to
make my movie, the voices are slowed down, although the picture is ok. I
can't save my movie that way!!

This Player is 10 times worse than the previous versions.  Get rid of it.

I ran Sherlock.exe on my system (Window XP SP2 and WMP 11) and it says that I
have a codec named 'WMplug' missing which I can't find anywhere.  Is this a
real codec or what?  
The missing file is supposed to be at
