How do I make this error mesage go away:
"Problem ejecting HL-DT-ST RW/DVD' GCC-424...
The device 'HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4240N' cannot be stopped because a
program is still accesssing it."

WMP11 is working generally well for me except that every couple of
weeks or so, it opens up with "database is corrupted and unusable;
will rescan for media files" (or words to that effect). Of course, you
lose all the play counts and other data that has built up. I have

WMP10 was working fine until I wanted to watch a video on this site -

to watch other musicvideos on there instead but I get this ...

I followed all instructions to burn mp3's, but when I click burn nothing
happens.  I get a brief message that the "burn is in progress" and then
another quick message that says, " there is nothing on the cd."  Please help!

If I play an HD Mpeg2 file in WMP10 it stuttuers and shudders and the sound
is broken up. If I play the same file in WINDVD7 it plays perfectly. Why
doesn't it work very well in WMP10, and is this fixed in WMP11.

Ok, this is driving me crazy. Why is it when I go to the microsoft events web
page and try to click on a video link (asx file) I get an error 'C00D1199',
Cannot play file. This is from a microsoft site using the microsoft media
player. What is the problem? It does not give me any ...

I installed the wmp11 a few weeks ago. For some unknown reason, it no longer
will play streaming music or video.
I get no error messages, no incoming signal etc. When there is an option to
view the stream as a Real Player stream, it works.

One of the greatest things about the newest version of Outlook is the Hide
when minimized function with enables you to hide it from the taskbar and just
keeps a small icon in the taskbar notification area....   Where is this
feature in the newest version of Windows Media ...

ok I cannot get this damn thing to load at all.
I have downloaded it and when I start set-up it runs for a few seconds
before I get an error pop up titled MLS Dbexport DLL
MLS Dbexport DLL has encountered a problem and needs to close blah blah blah.

WMP10 Had a feature that would allow me to select artists, albums, etc. when
it was docked in its toolbar.  Anyone know if that functionality is gone?
Can't seem to find it.

When ever I attemp to retreive a codec for a movie in windows media player,
it always fails and I am unable to view it. Is there any way to make getting
codecs easier?

Whenever I click on a link or even just the icon in my
startmenu - XP just gives me a beep and NOTHING Else!
Help it was working yesterday and now it suddenly

I recently installed WMP11 beta for the express purpose of trying out Urge.  
I've installed Urge (both through WMP and the website), but whenever it tries
to access the main Urge homepage, I receive an Error Not Found:
FlashNotInstalled message on the page.  

WMP 11.0.5358.4827  XP home, latest patches (as of Aug/09/2006).
When I stop playing a song, but leave wmp open, when I go to play the song I
left off at (and is still highlighted green), the playlist skips _BACK_ 5
songs and starts playing.  It does this every time I stop playing ...

Not sure if anyone is getting frustrated but Media Player 11 does not
hightlight songs when playing very well. Moreover, it's hard to find which
song you are playing because you have to search through all the albums. With
Media Player 10, you actually knew the song before and ...
