i have this problem too.  i have done everything that's suggested in this
newsgroup as well as uninstall/reinstall wmp 10 and install wmp 11 beta.  i
have tested the dvd player and dvd on another machine and they work.  i used

This happens in either WMP 9 or 10 or 11 under Windows XP(SP2). I can only
list one internet radio station under my favorites on the radio tuner page.

I have had problems with Media Player ever since I downloaded the beta 11
version.  Media player works and will play music for approximately 1-2
minutes and then completely shut down.  No error messages have ever popped

I recently upgraded to Windows Media Player 11 and really love it!  The
problem I have is that I cannot find the total length of a playlist, nor the
total number of songs.  This was a helpful feature in WMP 10.  Does it exist
in WMP 11?

All of the sudden, all videos run but appear now to be showing behind ground
glass.  Not only WMP10 but also with DivX player.  My WinDVD player seems
unaffected!  Anyone seen anything like this before?  If so, is there a
setting to fix it?
