I am attempting to install player 9, the pgrm downloads and the installation
wizard goes thru the process of installing the software; then just prior to
completing the installation a message appears, it reads; "It was not possible
to complete Setup  Windows Media Player 9 Series ...

Media Player 10 says I am not online...but I am on broadband and the internet
is working fine.  I have checked and WM10 is not working offline and it is
being told to work online.  Also, the firewall is letting WM10 work.
Any help?

I recently upgraded to WMP11 and it's been running no prob. I also had

I have a quite annoying problem with Media Play 10:
When opening any type of file, WMP opens telling me "media is opening" and
after a few seconds WMP closes without any error message. This happens with
any type of file (mpg, mp3, avi, ...), also the files are not damaged

i've installed mp11 and i could connect to the net with mp10 (b4 i installed
11) now i can't play any video from the net or even connect to get disc info

Here is my problem:
In case of rare albums, generally the ones not easily found through
Microsoft's metasearch, WMP11 tends to act "weird" with the assignments I
