I am looking  at a video clip in Flash 8.0 format.  The Flash video is
embedded in the IE6.0 browser.
*   Is there a way to quickly/simply CONVERT or SAVE this flash video file

I am new to WMP, using 11Beta.  Is there any way I can create my own genre
list so that when clicking on genre the pulldown list will have only the

I upgraded from Windows Media Player 10 to the new version 11 because I had
heard how much better the interface was.  For the most part, I do agree;
however, there is one feature missing and I wondered if you could help me
reinstate it.

Ok - to start, please keep in mind my knowledge of audio files is absolutely

Hi, when installing it hangs at 80% and then says that it cannot install.
Some background, 1) WMP 10 works great, 2) I have installed WMP 11
previously and then uninstaaled with no problem, 3) I have used ccleaner in
the past.

I'm trying to watch golf on aol and get the following message.
"sorry, there was a problem retrieving all the data for this content"

I was under the impression that you could record a lot of songs onto a disc
if it was in mp3 format. When I get ready to burn my list, It will only

A while ago i updated to WMP 11, found I couldn't burn anything there and
that tracks I've purchased wouldn't play.  So i rolled back to WMP10,
andfound that these problems were not corrected, though WMP10 had been fine
before I upgraded.  WMP10 will also now not let me restore ...

since reinstalling windows i can no loner player any files with sound ie
movies or songs.
I now get a message saying
" a General error has occured, cannot play back the audio stream. no

WMP 10 has recently started having black static-type horizontal blips in the
display when I'm playing DivX files.  Other programs (eg., PowerDVD) display the
same DivXs with no problem.  WMP doesn't seem to have trouble with anything
except DivX files.

Two problems in the beta:  First, as stated elsewhere, you can't delete files
from within a playlist, making it very hard to work with podcasts. Second,
when you delete a track and file (from the Library view)its not removed from
the playlists. This screws up sync with my player. ...
