Just gives me this message when trying to install. "It was not possible to complete Setup. Click on the button to get web help. Windows Media Player 11 was not installed. To update Windows Media Player, run Windows Media Player 11 Setup again.

i'm running WMP ver. 9 on win xp. i recently ripped some dvd music videos into avi format and wanted to know if it's possible to play .AVI files full screen from WMP? If I click the full screen button, WMP still leaves it's border around the video.

I;ve an avi file. When I open in WPM (versio 11 - beta), I do not get any error related to codecs. I checked the file in Gspot and it shows that all the codecs are installed. But I get only the frame of the video at any given time. The video just doesn't go to next frame. I ...

I am using Media Player 11 with the fastest DSL connection available. Video is sometimes is choppy and also stops to buffer after about 45 seconds. Is there a adjustment to windows xp that will correct this situation ?

I recently switched to XP professional from Win2k. since then I have been unable to play a number of videos, mostly mpg and avi files. I then installed divx codecs which helped me when I was on a win2k platform. now none of my videos play, mpg, avi, or wmv files.
