I've ripped over 26 hours of music onto my computer so far, still much to go,
but I'm noticing that when I play these CD's from the harddrive through media
player that the playback crackles and skips a little in ...

Here's the problem, as succinctly as possible:
I have the Samsung YP MP3 player hooked up to the computer, with WMP 10
showing the computer's music files in the left screen and the MP3
player's files on the right.

I have windows 2000 and I have windows media player 9, there is no updates
for it and everytime i try to watch a avi file i recieve the following error:
Windows media player and encountered a unknown error.
I look at the web help and i recieve a code and no other help on solving it ...

due to alot of problems im having with the player can someone please tell me
how to uninstall version 10.then reinstall version 10.

I'm trying to play videos onto a plasma tv, to do that i've putted onto
my pc (win xp equipped) a second vga card connected via cable to the
DVI connector of the tv.

All of a sudden, when I play a DVD using WMP 10, the DVD sort of stalls.  It
sort of looks like a slide show where the movie is shown frame by frame.  Do
you think it is a software problem or the CD-Rom drive problem?  Any
suggstions on how to check/solve this would be GREATLY ...

I have just been sent 2 free MP3's from Tesco.com but everytime I try to
play them and get as far as 'connecting  to media' I get this 'unknown'
error, it looks like it happens just after WMP attempts to acquire the
licenses. I spoke to Tesco who so far haven't been much help.

Recently upgraded to Windows Media Player 10, it would seem that I can no
longer burn music to my Sanyo 5600 Phone- I notice that it is not on the list
of supported devices.
Can anybody offer any suggestions as to a way around this??

What do you think about overlays settings vs. high quality mode and video
acclerators, video smoothing, YUV and RGB flipping, buffering? I need to
improve my performance of my Windows Media Player.

When attempting to play a DVD I get the following message.
