I'm sure that someone has sounded off on this before now, but having just had my library hozed, a comment of some sort seems in order. What's with "find album info" overwriting track metadata on songs not in that folder?

Ever since I installed WMP 11, I can't play any songs that I ripped from CDs from before upgrading from WMP 10, I've had to re-rip everything. Why does the player do this?

i found a MPEG Layer-3 Decoder on the net and installed it but i still cant see any picture (i get the visual affects [like swirling colours etc] but not the pics im ment to get). i can here the sound fine. this is happing on a few files.

I am using Windows XP with Windows Media Player 9 to watch DVD movies. It looks good until I install Media Player 10. Audio disappears. What do I need to install in order for the audio brings back to normal?

Every time I try to install after validation and accepting terms, I get the following error message: "On-Line install required. A required component is not available for download during Windows Media Player setup. Connect to the internet and run Windows Media Player setup again."

Help! I have ripped all my music files to WMP 10 in the default (.wma) format, but I need to save them to my device (Motorola Razr v3i) in .mp3 format to play them. Can I convert .wma files to .mp3 files in WMP 10, or will I have to rip the whole lot again? RSVP
