In the WMP9 library, you could jump to a specific song in a list when sorting
the target column alphabetically - when sorting by "Title" for example, I
could press the first two letters of a song to jump there directly. This does
not work in WMP11B2 anymore, or am I missing ...

I reinstalled Windows XP over the weekend (after a collection of old betas
never uninstalled completely, breaking functionality in later "real" releases
- eg Visual Studio 2005). Before, I had WMP11 Beta 2, but now if I try and
install it it insists on a web-based install.

The tracks are single ones and yet it assigned the same album to all of them
and then relabeled them with the tracks from that entire album.  Now I cannot
straighten them out.  Even using the manual editor - they are still
associated with the album originall assigned by WMP.  ...

i can download music to my player, but i cannot copy it to a cd. it tells me
that i need to insert media into removeable disk e. what do i do to just copy
the music to a cd?

Is there any way that multiple computers on a small home network can be
easily updated with the songs and music I have installed on my desktop.  I

i have ripped music from cd's to my library. some show the cd cover of the

The option to rip to mp3 (tools>options>rip music>rip settings>format) on my
WMP 10 mysteriously disappeared. I still have the "Windows Media Audio", the
"Windows Media Audio (variable bit rate)", and the "Windows Media Audio
lossless" options.....but the mp3 option is no longer ...
