Ever since I've switched over to XP I've never been able to stream anything
from the internet (this appaplies to both WMP and Real Player).
When I go to stream something either one just bug out and crash.

It's amazing that a product gets worse as it evolves.  But you the
development team for WMP 11 managed to do just that.
In v10 I could drag and drop to change genres, artists, ratings, etc.  Can't
do that anymore!  The dev team doesn't follow programing conventions, either.

When I close the Media Player 10, the music just keeps on playing...   Any
idea on how to get it to stop as it is suppose to other than going into the
Processes list and killing it there?

Strange problem with text encoding when updating album information in the
media library. When clicking on Album Details for the corresponding album as

I installed media player 11 and the desktop icons changed from the round
cirlcle to a white square with a blue music note. When I click on any of them
it still opens up media player and plays them fine. How do I get back the

i have created some Audio cd's, using Nero. some were created
from .mp3 files, and other from .wav files converted from mp3.
Although WMP(Ver 9) plays them all, the Album/Artist/Track
names are *unknown*. why is that?

cannot view ANY enhancement even though selected.  Get frame at bottom of
screen with name of enhancement chosen but not controls. ie select graphic
equaliser - just shows name with left/right arrows to selct next/previous.
reinstalled twice - any ideas???

I tried to find a solution from old posts to this problem and I still
can't figure this out.  I get sound from the right speaker only.  I am
