Hi there...

WMP10 - Poor Performance - Slow opening all media file types12 Sep 2006 05:17 GMT5
Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience - whenever I try to open a
local audio or video file, or access songs from a CD, my WMP takes FOREVER
opening the file.  It freezes for like 10 seconds, then finally begins
playing.  This happens under WMP9, 10 and 11 beta.

Is this a directshow problem?11 Sep 2006 19:14 GMT8
AVI files plays fine if they are located on the desktop, but not when
they are coming from a internet server in WMP9, WMP10 or WMP11. But
this only happens on some PCs with XP and not on others similar ones.
WMP don't identify the error.
