I cannot get my cds to play - it appears they will begin, but i only see a
second or two and it skips to the next song, i see a second or two, then
skips to the next song, etc.  I have selected 'play cd using media player'
for the box that pops up; i have also tried to open media ...

I've configured WMP11 not to play DVDs in the "File Types" options tab,
but when I insert a DVD while WMP11 is running in the background, it
pops up with a full-screen window to play the DVD.
IMO, a couple of things would be preferable:

I can't roll back WMP11 because it is the first WMP I've had on my computer
since I formatter. 11 has been playing up for me and I want to put 10 back
on. But I can't do this because the rollback needs a previous version of WMP
to roll back to.

I want to set up muti genre for my WMP but don't know how to do it.
What I'm After is like a Dance or Rock catorgry but also have like for Dance
songs a sub genre like trance or house or with rock a sub catorgry like punk
or alternitive

Is there any way to set media player so that it doesn't come to the front
every time you open a new file?
I find it quite annoying when browsing through music folders and it comes to

Just got my daughter a SanDisk Sansa e130 mp3 player.
I am trying to synch some mp3s from my pc to the player using WMP but when I
click sync it just sits there and there is no change in the Status Converting
(0%).

Some improvement over beta 1 but it still seems to take roughly 3 hours
to synch every hour of TV to my Archos AV700 i.e. converting DVR-MS to
WMV. As I am running dual Xeon processors this is very disappointing.

When I hover over it it says that it can't locate the file. One of the

Am I mistaken or is there no longer an option to enable/disable tracks
playing from a CD? I remember in previous versions that you could disable
tracks if you didn't want to hear the whole CD

I have a Netgear MP115 and can't fast forward or rewind DivX movies. mpeg1
and 2 ffwd and rwnd with no problems. Also the DivX videos sometimes get
"stuck" at the end of the file rather than continuing with the next movie in
the playlist. I haven't tested all of my videos, but so ...
