I can't burn cd's because my media player says "Connect a burner and restart the player." I can burn using record now, but why does my media player display that problem?

I have Media Player 10....it was working but now when I click on a news article with video this warning comes up No Windows Media Player detected? Does anybody know how to fix this problem...It won't play videos from news sites...If I put a movie in the dvd drive it plays with ...

When I'm trying to play media files that previously had played fine I get the above message and in some instances I'm getting the audio but the picture is just some moving psychedelic images, anyone any ideas?

I like what I see so far in WMP 11, but in version 10, there was an item count for media in your library. For instance, when playing music from a playlist, it would give you a total of how many items were in that playlist... ie: 2818 songs. Is that going to return in version 11?

When setting up Media Player I have always ticked 'rip CD when inserted' in the options menu. The CDs then auto rip on insertion, this setting seems to be lost after a period of time and I have to click rip music. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Hi I used to be able to put in a CD and the artist and track details would automatically come up.... for some reason this has stopped happening and I dont know how to fix it... Can you help?

I recently Installed Windows Media Player 11 Beta Edition but I couldn't seem to go Online anymore to find Album Information or look on Online Stores. So I decided to Roll the Insallation back to Windows Media Player 10, but I now have the same Problem, as Windows Media Player 10 ...

I've a problem with rating my new Files. They don't appear in my Library and i can't rate them. (The old ones can i rate) May it be so, that the library is "full"?

What is wrong with the system? I recently upgraded to WMP 10, now it won't allow me to play embedded videos, either nothing shows up, or I only get the sound.. how do I correct this?

There is still no quick menu in wmp11 beta 2, the same as in wmp10, on the minitoolbar menu or in the main screen, is there any news on wether this is to be included in the final build or has been completly dropped
