I installed WMP 11 over 10 and found it did not function well on my machine
so i reverted back to version 10 as per the instructions. Now, it seems to
work fine but when I right click on a track and click on "Find album info" it
goes to a dead link compaq.services.windowsmedia ...

I wanted to know if there was a way to set the player so that it doesn't pick
up duplicate files. If I have 5 copies of the same song on the computer, and
the player picks it up, I want it to recognize it as a duplicate and not add
it more than once. How do I do that?

Hi, I have been using Windows Media Player for ages and usually I select a
load of songs in a folder and press enter, bringing up all the songs in a
playlist. Something is going wrong now, when I select the songs and press
enter, it only opens 1 song. Can you please help. Thanks

I just bought my first MP3 player and am finally using WMP 9 for more than a
viewer.  Prior to MS ending support for Win98SE, I managed to download the
available updates for IE6, OE6, WMP 9, etc.

I've been trying to get the security component upgrade at this link
http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp?force=1 in
order to download videos onto my Toshiba Gigabeat . The Upgrade button
is grayed out and I can't get the download. Is anyone else having this

Does WMP 11 beta support .m4a files? Or is the final release going to?

Some users in our network have problems while playing streaming wmv content
from http server (IIS6). After some time after playing starts WMP suspends
downloading. It writes "Buffering" and remains in this state no more
downloading.

I am trying to download some music stored on my Dell D600 laptop onto a
Smartphone. I use an MDAII Compact running Windows 5.0 and the Dell has
Windows 2000.  Media Player on the laptop is 9 and on the MDA II its 10.  I
understand WMP10 cannot run on W2000.

I purchased 2 Logitech Wireless Headphones to watch a movie with my
wife at the same time.
It uses bluetooth.
The thing is that the receiver works only with one headphone.
