After problems with my system freezing whenever I played a WMV file with WMP9
(on Win2000 Pro), I uninstalled WMP9 and DivX, rebooted and tried to
re-install WMP9. Now every time I try to install WMP9, I get a message saying
that a previous application install has not been ...

Some audio/video files now play slow for whatever reason.
It doesnt matter if its audio and video, or just one or the other.
It doesnt affect everything I view with WMP, it seems to be more or less hit
and miss but it is constant with the ones it doesnt work with.

I bought Norton System Works 2006 online and wanted to install it. When I ran
it, the program started to compress all kinds of files. Then it ran into
wmp.dll and there it stopped. There was no warning for an error: nothing
happened anymore.

I installed WMP 11 last night on my comp.  After installing it asked to
restart my comp.  I said yes and then went to bed.  I get up this morning and
now my computer won't boot up.  It was working perfectly until I installed
this new WMP.

When WMP is in mini-player mode, every time you mouse over it, it pops up
"toast" (like MSN Messenger's notifications) showing me what's playing, and a
volume slider.  Problem is, this toast pops up over icons that I need.
I tried clicking on it, to make it go away, but instead, ...

I'm looking windows media player ActiveX object documentation.
Information like ActiveX control properties, events and etc..
Where can I find(download) it ?

Well - my first foray into online music seems to be a sucess!  I have gone
from NO music on my computer ( I used Music Choice thru my cable provider) to
about 800 tracks.  I even loaded my TREASURED 1935-1938 releases of Ella
Fitzgerald so needless to say, it is shaping up.  But ...

Can anyone advise me how to player a DVF File. This is and audio CD. Download
website would be great.

I have a Win2k file server box right next to my telephone private exchange
(PBX) and I want the server to play .wma files for the 'music on hold'
feature.
Of course all works well when a user is logged on and the process of logging

I want WMP to Sync a playlist on this SD card but i dont want it to be in WMA
i want it to copy the files to MP3 to the card, because my phone only
supports MP3... can it do that?
