so my sister was messing with her media player and all of a sudden this list
of blank cd's comes up and when ya try to delete em it says "Windows Media
Player has encountered an unknown error" The error code thing is C00D11CD...

I want windows media player to open on the left side of my browser instead of
when i play a song on a web page it opens up the whole windows media player
on my computer i thought it use to just place media player on the left side
of my browser but i cant find where to change it ...

For some reason, my mp3s skip when I listen to music.  This affected WMP 10
and so I upgraded to 11 but the problem still persists.  It also affectes my
other two players Real and Quicktime.  Plus, it affects the sound of the

I can't play my dvd's because of an error with "copyright protection."  
Thing is, these dvd's have played on this program before.  I can still play a
few of my dvd's, but not all of them.  What gives??????

Media Player 9 was working great, and my 4 year old was watching a Tonka
movie, when I began to hear the pounding of keys from a room away. I don't
know what he did, but the result is this:  
MP plays avi's and MP4's, but MPEGS the screen is black.

I am trying to burn a data cd and every time i hit "start burn" it looks like

Is it possible? I am using Andromeda to try and stream audio over an SSL
connection, however whenever I try to open the file I get the following error
in Media Player:
C00D11B3: Encountered a network error

i am running windows media player 10 on windows xp with service pack 2.  
when i attempt to play certain video, i have excellent audio quality with no
video.  i do not get a message box, but rather down at the bottom underneath
the video screen it says "error downloading codec."

I was able to close my notebook and still listen to my music from the windows
media player, but recently, the player has stopped playing music when I close
it.  Where do I go to restore the settings so I can play music with my
notebook closed.  My notebook is the Inspiron 9300.

When I play mp3 files in Audacity they sound fine, but when I play the same
file in Media Player (10 or 11), the quality is very poor. Why is this ?

Script Error Messages In WMP11 Radio Station (Media Guide)23 Oct 2006 09:59 GMT4
I've already done a search here and have gone into internet options (IE7)
and changed boxes under the script heading as suggsted (allow and don't
alert), but am still unable to open any radio stations.  Message tells me :
'player.controls' is null or not an object.
