I'm just wondering if there's any way of doing something with my music
collection in WMP (or any other player for that matter).  I have a reasonably
large collection of albums on my computer, and I would like to see a
selection of them based on keywords, rather than ...

When I try to add a particular song to my library it gives the message
"Property not found". Also this song does not automaticly when it searches
for songs. Other songs from the same album and in the same folder work and
this song still plays. It just will not add to the library.

The Subject says it all really. I have a wma file I created from an analog
recording. WMP classifies it under videos, but when I synch the file to my
Clix, it's audio again.

I have a simple question for windows media player 11 ( or 10 ).
I have a playlist  and I want it to synchronize with a certain folder
on my mp3-player .
How can I set this up ?

How do I ad 1 song to multiple albums?

I can sync wav. files from device to Windows Media Player and they will play
back from library.  Audio Converter will not facilitate conversion of wav.
files to wma or mp3.  I cannot burn cd's from wav. files.....unrecognized
codec.  Is there a setting I can change to remedy this ...

My WMP pauses every time I move my mouse while a video is playing.  Does
anyone know what is causing this?

When I'm playing a DVD, the subtitles won't turn on. I went through all the
FAQs and troubleshooting on the Windows Media site and it still won't turn
on. Any help would be appreciated.

It seems that DirectShow media players (in particular, graphedit or
zoomplayer) use the filter <l3codecx.ax> to play mp3 files, but WMP
uses <l3codeca.acm>.
My question is: is there any way to force WMP to use <l3codecx.ax>?

I some AVIs that will not play. I get sound no picture. WM11 cannot download

Hi.  Using a laptop with XP, I recorded a presentaion using ZD Softscreen
Recorded and saved it as a .WMV file.  Using WMP 10 on an XP box, the file
starts and then stops at 35sec.  The error code is C00D1199.  I'm sure I've
got the latest codec file as I'm using WMP10.

I've had Windows Media Player as the default for nearly a year.  All of a
sudden, a .wmv file displays but there is no sound.  The signals in the WMP
window indicate that the file has a sound track, and I can hear it when I
