Hey guys, I need some help with my player.  I downloaded the player back in
June with no problems.  Lately its been crashing on me.  No error messages
either.  Just the sorry for the inconvienience one and then sends an error

I am not able to remove or intall version 10 or 11. This happened all of a

I installed media player 11 beta 2 over media player 9 on xp sp1.  I am now
trying to rollback or uninstall player 11, and uninstalling the three
components don't work.  I get an error message of "Your version of windows on

I added this to an older topic, but for those who don't feel like
browsing back several thousand topics, here's a fix for playing swf
files in WMP10. Kind of dirty, but it works.
So far I've only tested this with locally stored swf files:

After installing SP2 when ever I try to play a Flash (.swf) movie in WMP10b I

It would be great to change the playlist spec to allow me to set a given
playlist as shuffle or not, rather than the entire player.  By doing this,
the user can have some CDs (or ripped CDs) that contain stories, talks or

I get this error message on my WMP 10 and 11. Every time I try to play a wma,
it gives me this error message. My mp3's work fine, but it won't play the
wma's.

I know this has been talked about a lot but my problem seems a little
different.
I use MWP 10.  I have .avi files that I have played for months with no
problem.  I downloaded these from a file sharing program and play them
